Know Your Own Health

  • Find out more about KYOH’s 2-day training programme

The 2-day training in Core Curriculum skills is aimed at anyone working with patients to enable them to have ‘Better Conversations’ that support self-management and patient activation.

The skills are universal and can therefore be applied to any role.  The training is tailored to the context of the participants’ roles.

Health & Wellbeing Coaches use the skills in the context of a structured programme to support patients to self-manage effectively and improve their levels of ‘activation’.  Those working in other roles will use the skills as toolkit, picking and choosing from the skillset depending where they are in the ‘Coaching Conversation’ at any point.

  • Book onto a 2-day training programme

This PCI-accredited 2-day course provides training in health coaching skills to support self-management in line with the Personalised Care Institute’s Core Curriculum.  These all currently take place remotely via Zoom or Teams.  The training is complementary to the Health & Wellbeing Coach training.  The courses are independent of each other and also work well together.
