  • Bronze, Silver & Gold Levels of Accreditation

Health and Wellbeing Coaching is a skilled profession.

All Health and Wellbeing Coaches undertake an initial skills training programme.

This is followed by continued training and supervision alongside their coaching sessions, enabling coaches to qualify for higher levels of skills accreditation.

At each level, Health and Wellbeing Coaches are assessed against a set of specific core competencies and skills:

Level I (Bronze):  Will have completed Training and passed a Formative Assessment. This stage aligns with the PCI 4-day training required for all Health & Wellbeing Coaches.
Level II (Silver): Will have worked with a target number of clients and passed a Summative Assessment. This level indicates that coaches are experienced in the role.
Level III (Gold):  Will have worked with an additional target number of clients, presented a Portfolio of Case Studies demonstrating skills for assessment, and passed an individual interview with the trainer. This level indicates a high level of skill and experience and also qualifies the Health & Wellbeing Coach to train as a trainer. This can support the building of local coaching and supervision capacity.
