Belinda* was struggling to cope with an alcoholic husband.
She hadn’t accessed any help, largely because of the stigma attached. Over the course of the support sessions Belinda managed, with the support of the coach, to get herself to the point where she could reach out and access the help she needed. Belinda has now managed to get in touch with Alcoholics Anonymous, who also support partners of Alcoholics, and is feeling positive that she can now start to find a good way forward.
