James* wasn't confident about leaving his house.
Arthritis had stopped me doing things I enjoyed and this had also had a knock-on effect on my confidence and I stopped going out of the house. I didn’t feel I was coping very well and fear of failure was starting to set me back even further.
My health coach supported me to take small steps to getting back to doing things like doing some gentle exercises or walking into town, both of which had become a challenge. I’m really pleased to have a much more positive attitude – I’m more relaxed about set-backs and am very happy about what I’m actually managing to achieve.
It doesn't matter if you don't know what you want or what could help you; a health coach will discuss your situation with you and help you decide what's important for you.
